What exactly makes High Road Gallery distinct?
We are not a silent, formal gallery—we are an open studio where the public is invited into conversation, learning, and the real-time adventure of art-making with our 12 resident artists and guest artists.
We show not only finished work, but also experiments and works-in-progress, all open to dialogue and discovery.
We operate inside a 200-year-old home, giving visitors—especially younger generations—a tangible sense of what domestic architecture and life were like in 1818.
We take no commission on artwork sales; artists retain full value from their work, and all transactions are handled directly by them.
We are a nonprofit organization, established in 2001, and the oldest art gallery in Worthington.
Our focus is on people and art education as much as the art itself, prioritizing connection, learning, and community engagement.
We maintain ongoing relationships through partnerships with Worthington Schools, I Am Boundless, and The Hartford at Stafford, part of the National Church Residences, extending our impact beyond the gallery walls.
