Art Stories

Art Stories at The Hartford is a monthly program in which a High Road Gallery artist brings a small selection of their original art to The Hartford at Stafford senior apartments. In an informal group setting, residents gather to view the artwork and participate in guided conversation with the artist. Each session is designed to be accessible and welcoming, with no prior art experience required, and offers residents a consistent opportunity to engage with original art and with one another.

In these small gatherings, art becomes more than something to look at—it becomes a way to connect, to remember, and to feel seen. Art Stories brings creativity off the walls and into conversation, creating moments of meaning, connection, and shared experience.
